Security Systems Design – St Pancras International Rail Station

Emcor Rail, as part of the CORBER Joint Venture of Costain, Laing O Rourke, Bachy Soletanche and Emcor Rail, appointed Atlantic Construction and Design to undertake detailed design of the security systems during the refurbishment of St Pancras International rail station in London.

This included CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection and Remote Panic Alarm systems, co-ordinated services and PA/VA design for this international rail station.

All systems were co-ordinated to ensure an integrated, seamless installation whilst also being visually aesthetically appealing.

Design and approvals of the various components underwent an approval and consultation process with English Heritage and design consultants to ensure all components met the stringent requirements for acceptability due to St Pancras International being within the English Heritage’s top ten list of the country’s most important buildings.
